I found the error, It was I was on a 64bit system and just needed to set it to be 32bit. I started emotivsharp on source forge (it has links off the forum)

It will show you what data would come off the headset.

Hi,

Sorry for the late response. No, this DLL can *not* connect with the full headset. I suppose it because I developped this code using the SDK Lite v0.8. So, since then (and reading the post from 0Nex) I think some changes broke my version.

For an unable to connect, verify you have the same port configured on your app and into emocomposer. Can you provide me more information about it ?

Hello, I'm using Vb.net 2008. I used the exact code given on the home page to try and connect to the headset (I translated it into VB, of course). However, all I get is an "unable to connect" error at runtime.

What could be causing this? Does Xas.Emotif only work with C#.net, and not Vb.net? Can Xas.Emotif only connect to a real headset (I'm using the Emocomposer simulation)? Anything else that could be causing the problem?

I tested Xas.Emotif v0.6(Beta)

does not seem to work:(

got error: "An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format"

full error:
System.BadImageFormatException: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000B)
at Xas.Emotif.NativeFunctions.EE_EngineRemoteConnect(String szHost, UInt16 port)

I checked to see if I had the correct port and such, all looked good.

anyone hit this?
any ideas?
